Sligo Town is an old port town with a wide selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Venture out of the town to Strandhill, a beautiful beach with a small collection of boutique cafes includng one of our favourites Shells. Enniscrone Beach is breathtaking as is Mullaghmore Strand with its sand dunes and bay for safe swimming. The Horse Shoe Ring is an absolute MUST SEE and for the more energetic you may want to consider climbing Knocknarea to visit the ancient burial ground of Queen Meabh and enjoy some Wild Atlantic Coastline views.
City of Derry and Belfast
If you are looking for a city day trip, Belfast and the City of Derry have lots to offer. Belfast is rich with museums, city tours and high street shops. The world famous Titanic Museum is worth a visit, the Catheral Quarter with its numerous restaurants and bars as well as the citys Botanical Gardens are also worth a visit.
The city of Derry is vibrant at the best of times, however when one of the numerous events or festivals is happening, you may well want to take a trip to the unique city. If you are interested in guided tours then The Walled City Tour is worth considering and a visit to the Guild Hall with its spectaclar stain glass windows should also be included on your trip.
Enniskillen Island Town
Enniskillen is the main shopping town in Fermanagh. It has plenty to offer in retail with large chains and independent stores on the high street and in Erneside Shopping Centre. Check out Dohertys Butcher and their world famous Black Bacon, The Buttermarket for local artisan craft producers and The Round O where you can feed the ducks!

If you are looking for a full day out, then the Giants Causeway may be a great option. You probably already know that it is a World Heritage site and is one Ireland most popular attractions. The Giants Causeway is flanked by the wild North Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs. The column formations are quite something and if you do decide to visit, if you can get a guided tour, it really enhances your experience.
