Sligo Town is an old port town with a wide selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Venture out of the town to Strandhill a beautiful beach with a small collection of boutique cafes includng one of our favourites Shells.
Enniscrone Beach is breathtaking as is Mullaghmore strand with its sand dunes and bay for safe swimming.
The Horse Shoe Ring is an absolute MUST SEE and for the more energetic you may want to consider climbing Knocknarea to visit the ancient burial ground of Queen Meabh and enjoy some Wild Atlantic Coastline views.
For those interested in literature, you might also want to visit the grave of WB Yeats, where many the literary enthusast has paid homage to this famous irish author.
